High-accuracy adaptive-frequency measures for low signals in acoustic optical processors

Kirill V. Zaichenko · Proceedings of SPIE, the International Society for Optical Engineering/Proceedings of SPIE · 1994

Development of coherent devices secures an essential increace of effective signals parameters appreciation indexes against noise and clutters background is of a great theoretical and practical interest. Frequency sensitive elements (FSE) based on acoustic optical Furie—processors (FP) are related to these devices. Owing to the usage of FP input signal analysis is transforming from frequency to time area. If FP has sufficiently high resolution ability, it is possible to apperciate such parameters as a signal—noise ratio, a width of signal energy spectrum and its form. Parameters of FSE should be altered according to the obtained appreciate values in order to secure minimum of mediquadratic measure error of the effective signal energy spectrum central Requirement of full measure error minimi'sation is taken as a criterion of adaptation which In case of linear model of FSE comes to the requirement of equivalent spectrum density minimum and in case of non—linear model — mediqadratic measure error. Synthesis of adaptive procedures is performed by obtaining the reliable appreciations of unknown parameters with the usage of inherent in many measures structure surplus.
