Prefix Primitive Languages
Chun-Chieh Huang, Shyr-Shen Yu · Journal of Information and Optimization Sciences · 2004
The aim of this paper is to investigate some general properties of prefix primitive (shortly, p -primitive) words and related languages. We show that there exists no dense regular language consisting of p -primitive words. We also establish a formula for the numbers of elements in maximal non- p -primitive uniform codes. Moreover, we show that the language of all p -primitive words and its intersection with the language of d -primitive words are disjunctive.
