Extended fuzzy methods in risk management

In the paper after a short review of main characteristics of risk management applications, some novel fuzzy calculation based possibilities will be presented, like the hierarchical grouping of risk factors, type-2 fuzzy sets representation and decision making on distance-based operators' platform. The examples are given from the medical diagnostic and risk factor management.
