Study and construction of integrated information platform in electric power companies based on grid technology

How to eliminate resource island and information silo is an important issue which confronts large enterprises including electric power companies in the process of management modernization. Directing at power system's distinct characteristics such as widely distribution, numerous businesses, different data structure and mass information, this paper introduces concepts of organizing management integration, data resource virtualization and service application individualization. Making use of grid technology, the paper builds a management platform of info integration, and with prototype testifying, it plays an active role in promoting enterprise resource integration, construction of intelligence grid, task cooperation and information sharing, which could effectively increase management efficiency and benefit.
