Using MDE for Generic Comparison of Views

Abstract. We investigate the application of technologies for model-driven engineering to check the conformance of two software models. This involves their model-based comparison, and visualisation of the results. To generalise our approach we use reflection, metamodel generalisation, and higher-order transformations. We apply our approach to assess the extent to which the implementation of an academic example system does not violate the constraints defined by its architecture specification. 1
