A logic base tool set for real-time Ada software development

Michael Moore · 1991

This is a report on work conducted privately that explores the use of predicate logic to reason about real-time design. Safety and reliability issues associated with embedded real-time systems make greater demands on development engineers than non-real-time systems whose functional complexity is of similar degree. The effort undertaken here attempts to provide methods and tools for dealing with both the functional and temporal aspects of software engineering. The goal is to improve the effectiveness of engineering and thus the productivity of a development team.
