Compressed-Domain Video Processing for Adaptation, Encryption, and Authentication

A complete framework based on the MPEG-21 generic bitstream syntax description provides video adaptation, encryption, and authentication in the compressed domain. The system doesn't require any cascaded compression and decompression.
