Accelerating HPC Workloads with Dynamic Adaptation of a Software-Defined Hybrid Electronic/Optical Interconnect

We prototyped a dynamically adaptable hybrid electronic/optical interconnect using commodity switches and measured its reconfiguration delay. By reconfiguring the network at runtime to avoid congestion we accelerated the execution of parallel workloads in a real testbed.
