Dedekind completion of Positive Concatenation Structures: Necessary and sufficient conditions

Michael A. Cohen · Journal of Mathematical Psychology · 1988

Necessary and sufficient conditions are presented to Dedekind complete a Closed Positive Concatenation Structure. In addition, a new graphical method is presented for verifying the axioms of a Positive Concatenation Structure, and a counter-example is exhibited to the claim that all Positive Concatenation Structures may be Dedekind completed.
