A study of late MIS projects
Theodore C. Willoughby, Paul L. Veneskey · 1979
Late MIS projects, or any late project for that matter can be costly in terms of lost opportunities, revenues, etc. Predicting events such as completion dates of products is impossible to do with certainty but such projections are made and relied on as a matter of course and are an important part o f everyday business life. The purpose of this study is to investigate late MIS projects and their relationship to characteristics of the project team such as the level of education and experience of that team.
