Recursive optimization technique for the design of 2D half‐plane recursive digital filters

Modified Marquardt algorithm and least Pth norm are used for recursive optimization of asymmetric 2D halfplane recursive digital filter design. Several examples of arbitrary shape 2D filters are designed from this effective approach and shown in this paper.
