An automatic film processor for departmental use

Antony Marr · British Journal of Radiology · 1962

There has been great need for a small, reasonably priced, but reliable automatic unit to process 16 and/or 35 mm cinematograph film but in many instances the volume of work involved does not justify the large expenditure normally incurred in the purchase of a suitable machine. The unit shown is in use in this department and gives very satisfactory results; it is one of a new range of machines and its market price is approximately £155. It will process 100 ft. of cinematograph film in about 50 minutes; the finished product is usually free from scratches or other blemishes and is ready for immediate projection. The dimensions are: 42 × 9 × 20 in. and the weight is 56 lb (with tanks empty).
