The following VTLS Virginia Polytechnic search sheet updates the 1991 search sheet published in the first edition of Search Sheets for OPACS on the Internet. Principal changes are new telnet and IP address, keyword and Boolean search capabilities. VTLS now offers a novice menu‐driven mode which is evoked by 〈?〉. The menu‐driven mode does not prompt the user on keyword and Boolean searching. Patrons can switch between menu and command searches by entering a search command or typing/help to see the command help screen.
