Keypad gloves: glove-based text input device and input method for wearable computers

An easy and very useful glove-based text input device for wearable computers is presented. The key to the development of the proposed device is the use of a unique operator-to-key mapping method, key-to-symbol mapping method and simple algorithm. An efficiency test was conducted and the results were compared with those of other glove-based devices and algorithms.
