Privacy Aware Access Control in Web Services Compositions

Rekha Bhatia, Manpreet Singh · 2014

In the online transaction era, multiple heterogeneous web services collaborate to provide required services to the users. In such scenarios, the risks associated with the inadvertent privacy disclosure and intentional privacy breaches from the collaborative composition of participating web services whose privacy policies are not compatible with data owner's privacy preferences, is becoming a major cause of concern for the users of these services. In this paper, we propose a novel privacy-preserving web service composition model based on binary search tree based user's privacy preferences prioritization approach which takes into consideration the owner's privacy requirements and preferences while composing these services.
