Hierarchical Image Segmentation Algorithm in Depth Image Processing

Because the traditional iterative graph cut algorithm is time consuming and low in segmentation accuracy, I proposes the method of iterative graph cut to segment images, by analyzing the basic theory of image segmentation, I introduces the balance factor to balance the degree of importance between color texture and depth. Finally it passes detailed experimental simulation, the experiment shows that the result of hierarchical iterative graph cut based on depth image is better than iterative graph cut, while time it takes is much shorter, thus it can segment depth images more effectively.
