Two Portable Substandards of Frequency

Descriptions are given of two multivibrator instruments for the generation of closely spaced spot frequencies from the middle-upper audio-frequency band to 35 Mc/s. Crystals are used for the locking of the multivibrators and for the provision of checking points. The frequency stability of both instruments is good, and their accuracy, depending upon the care taken in setting up, can be high. External power supplies are required.
