Conditions of Equivalence of Recursive Algorithms of Adaptive Filtration by the Least Squares Criterion

A method of initialization of the algorithms of adaptive filtration functioning by the least squares criterion is analyzed. As a consequence, adaptive filters of the same order, using different versions of such algorithms, become mathematically equivalent. This allows correct comparison of algorithms at the stage of their development for verification of their correct operation, as well as for solution of specific problems of digital signal processing. This method allowed one to develop and test an applied library, containing about 400 algorithms of adaptive filtration.
