Optimal stopping for the run-time self-adaptation of software systems

Oliver Skroch · Gabler Verlag eBooks · 2010

Advanced software systems can reconfigure themselves at run-time by choosing between alternative options for performing certain functions. Such options can be built into the systems, but are also externally available on open and uncontrolled platforms. Main examples are Web services and mashnps on the Internet today. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
