The establishment of logistics information sharing platform for comprehensive transportation not only enables the integration of logistics workflow but also improves transparency and sharing degrees in information exchange of multimodal transport. It can also optimize the allocation of resources and improve the quality of transport service. Taking the analysis of China's current transportation coordination in modern logistics as background, the paper proposes the necessity of building a logistics information sharing platform. Trough elaborating the construction principles, it analyses the system's requirements from all aspects. The system's functions are proposed by the combination of the logistics work processes. Finally the conceptual database model is designed. The introduction of metadata in data warehouse which provides decision support can be a solution to the problem of interoperability in different formats.
