Analytical methods to calculate performance ofhandoff prioritisation in dynamic channel assignment

Analytical methods are developed to investigate the performance of handoff prioritisation in dynamic channel assignment with reserve channel dynamic allocation (DCA-RC-DA). Closed-form expressions are evaluated to calculate the new call blocking probability and the handoff failure probability. Analysis results are compared with simulation results and good agreements are observed.
