The Generalized Inverse of an Unbounded Linear Operator

Some necessary and some sufficient conditions are given for the existence of the Moore–Penrose generalized inverse of an unbounded linear operator between inner product spaces with an appropriately restricted domain. These results generalize a recent result of W. F. Langford.
