Load‐strength modelling of mechanics and electronics

Valter Loll · Quality and Reliability Engineering International · 1987

Abstract The basic conditions for using the load‐strength theory is listed. The use of the theory as a modelling tool—a way of thinking, is discussed. The theory is used to explain differences and similarities in failure patterns of mechanics and electronics. Further, real data is shown for load‐strength in an electronic system.
