A versatile analogue circuit based on a novel method of division

This article describes a new method of performing analogue division and its applicability in generating the general function V = ( a 1 V 1 + a 2 V 2 ) m/k / ( b 1 V 1 + b 2 V 2 ) n/k subject to the condition 0 less-than-or-eq, slant V less-than-or-eq, slant 1. In particular a form of the circuit giving V 1 ( V 1 + V 2 ) is described.
