The National Center for Computer Crime Data is a research institute which studies and reports on means to facilitate the prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of computer crime. (Computer crime is defined broadly by the Center, and includes all crimes perpetrated through the use of computers and all crimes where damage is done to computers or their components.)
