A fuzzy hierarchical clustering method for clustering documents based on dynamic cluster centers

In this paper, we present a new fuzzy hierarchical clustering method based on dynamic cluster centers to deal with document clustering, where the terms in the documents are used to construct dynamic cluster centers, and the cluster centers will change when different document clusters are merged. The degrees of similarity between document clusters are calculated based on these dynamic cluster centers. The experimental results show that the proposed method gets a higher average clustering precision rate for clustering documents than the method presented in (Horng, et al., 2002).
