To perform the task of semantic annotation, we identify elements present in the context of citations to determine their relevance for the purpose of scientific monitoring. By identifing researchers who defines concepts, we can build relations between organizations or topics. This paper presents a method to exploit linguistic ontologies to generate semantic annotations.
