Oversampled frame algorithms for real-time wavelet and wavelet packet frame decompositions and reconstructions
Charles K. Chui · Optical Engineering · 1994
The notion of oversampled frames differs from the more well-known concept of oversampling in that no additional data information is required in the implementation of the oversampled frame algorithms and that redundancy can be separated in a combinatoric way into linearly independent subfamilies of complete systems. This combinatoric scheme is used to design real-time algorithms for wavelet and wavelet packet frame decompositions and reconstructions.
