Performance of the hyper-ring multicomputer

In this paper, the performance of the Hyper-Ring (HR) multicomputer is modeled, the performance model is evaluated, and the results of the performance model evaluation are analyzed and compared to those of the Multi-Ring (MR) multicomputer.Moreover, the impact of the traffic load and message length on the system performance is analyzed.The results show that the HR topology with up to three hierarchical levels can support lO's of nodes without much degradation in system efficiency.
