A New Method for Deriving Adjacent Approximants in the Padé Table

This paper derives formulas for adjacent approximants in the Padé table by using the Focal Point method of solving systems of linear equations.In addition to presenting a new method to derive formulas, this paper gives inner products to detect blocks in a nonnormal Padé table.These inner products lead to characterizations of the corner entries of the blocks.
