To reconstruct desired super-resolving images from data obtained in a limited area, a method of proper estimation of holograms in the extended area from the data is proposed. The estimation is carried out sequentially according to the accumulation of new data based on the least-mean-square method and the corresponding images are reconstructed at each stage. The process of the convergence of the reconstructed images is observed and the process is stopped when it is judged that the sequence of the images have been converged to give a final image. Thus, this method gives a super-resolution imaging in both senses of time and space. The algorithms for the estimation and image reconstruction, as well as the effects of noises for the method, are shown with some numerical examples.
