Opportunities and challenges for traceable graph rewriting systems
Mirko Seifert · 2008
Model transformations are a fundamental part of model-driven software development. A widely accepted formal basis for such transformations is Graph Rewriting. For real-world transformations there is a need to examine how well practical demands can rest upon this grounding. To support some of these demands (debugging, dependency visualization and change propagation) we propose the extension of Graph Transformation Systems with tracing.
