One of the most important considerations in designing sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network is to extend the network lifetime by minimizing the energy consumption with limited resources. The most challenging aspects of the studies conducted on this topic have been supporting the mobility of sink nodes in a wireless sensor network, and providing an efficient data dissemination approach.
