Notice of Violation of IEEE Publication Principles"WiFiPi-Tracking at Mass Events"by P.H. Patil, A.A. Kokilin the Proceedings of the International Conference on Pervasive Computing (ICPC), January 2015After careful and considered review of the content and authorship of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE’s Publication Principles. This paper duplicates original text from the paper cited below. The original text was copied with insufficient delineation of the reused portion."WiFiPi: Involuntary Tracking of Visitors at Mass Events"by Bram Bonne, Arno Barzan, Peter Quax and Wim Lamottein the Proceedings of the IEEE 14th International Symposium on "A World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks" (WoWMoM), June 2013To track the crowd at mass events, real time data of people is required. By observing people and gathering the data in the desired context, more realistic tracking can be achieved. This paper presents a method of tracking the people without active cooperation of the object. Here this method works by scanning at different locations with the help of WiFi interface on visitors object. This method can be implemented using a low cost Raspberry Pi device. Raspberry Pi is recently become very popular. This method allows tracking of number of peoples and has many applications in different areas.
