Improved design of CMOS multiple-input Muller-C-elements

The Muller-C-element is a basic building block for selftimed digital circuits. It is used to realise the AND function for events (signal transitions). This Letter presents an improved n-input Muller C-element design which provides tighter conditions for hazard-free operation with reduced hardware cost.
