Distributed amplifiers with paired-plate connections

Wai‐Kai Chen, KENNETH JAMES BARKER · International Journal of Electronics · 1970

It is shown that, in pairing the plates of a conventional distributed amplifier, it not only improves the frequency response but also the transient response. The transient response curves are normalized with respect to both amplitude and time, and may be applied to specific situations by resealing the axes. Also, a comparison with the conventional amplifier is presented.
