ParcBench: a benchmark for shared-memory architectures
Neil J. Günther, M. T. Noga · ACM SIGARCH Computer Architecture News · 1989
P ARC Bench is a non-synthetic, multi-component benchmark written in C and directed at Unix-based shared-memory multiprocessor architectures. Unlike most conventional benchmarks P ARC Bench generates multivariate data to produce a characterization of shared-memory architectures which necessarily goes beyond the single timing datum.
