Time-Frequency Analysis and the Uncertainty Principle

In this chapter we discuss the notion and goals of time-frequency analysis. We first build some intuition about what is meant by time-frequency analysis. As a motivation we use signal analysis and the analogy of time-frequency analysis with a musical score. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
