Special states of the plane rotator relevant to the light field

The screw operator is introduced in the system of the plane rotator and applied to the ground state of the mathematical pendulum. The resulting p state is studied from the viewpoint of the usual and modified statistical and uncertainty characteristics relevant to quantum optics and the quantum phase.
