On the measurement of resistor dynamic characteristics

This paper is a summary of two techniques for the meas urement of resistor dynamic characteristics. It is not a comprehensive paper in that it does not include a liter ature search or a review of well-established bridge tech niques. It does, however, present methods of measuring resistor high- and medium-frequency dynamic characteris tics, using only a square-wave generator, a sine-wave generator, and a high-speed oscilloscope. It emphasizes the use of models, both physical and mathematical, and completely avoids the use of analog computer measuring methods, even though the practical goal is analog-compu ter oriented.
