Computation of Shift Operators in Orthonormal Compactly Supported Wavelet Bases

In this paper some algorithms to translate signals using orthonormal compactly supported wavelet bases are introduced. The approximation to the shift operator in these bases is obtained and the performance of the different wavelets is studied through examples.
