Identity theft: the fight

My over-riding impression of the past month is of identity theft. Not that I have become a victim: more one of a succession of reports, media stories and press releases. These have ranged from the increasing levels of phishing attacks and identity theft through to the fight back – legislation, regulation, guidance to reduce the risk of identity theft and software offerings; also to reduce the risk. This month I will cover some of the escalating trends of ID theft. And next month I will concentrate on the fight back with legislation.
