Programming Safe Agents in Blueprint

While there are plenty of agent languages around, those who are targeted towards practical aspects are few and far between. Most alternatives serve mainly as experimentation vehicles for Distributed Artificial Intelligence (i.e. Jason, GOAL). It is our opinion that if agents are to get any mainstream attention they have to come with solutions to current problems like concurrency and distribution such as those found in real world scenarios, e.g. cloud and mobile systems. While some of the existing solutions partially address some of these issues, they do so in an unconvincing way.
