A glossary utility for Forth

Charles Curley · ACM SIGFORTH Newsletter · 1989

This article describes a short glossariser utility which is useful for documenting Forth applications and utilities. It was written in real-FORTH, the author's product, an upgraded and modernized descendent of fig-FORTH. The utility produces a series of glossary entry headers on a set of screens, and includes a sort routine. The results may then be exported from Forth as a text file, imported into a word processor, and elaborated into a complete glossary. This article includes a glossary of the utility prepared with the glossariser utility.
