Independence of slope and intercept in Sternberg's memory‐scanning paradigm

John D. Valentine, John P.H. Wilding, Naresh Mohindra · British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology · 1984

Predictions for such correlations are derived and compared with data from a large scale experiment of this type. A satisfactory match is obtained.
