Personal computer viruses have existed for several years. Their continual changes and new vectors are a substantial annoyance to many businesses. The increased use of the Internet, reliance on e-mail, and shared data files and attachments, commensurate with the expanded power of macro languages, have generated new problems for companies and security experts.
