Measuring the frequency sweeping rate (dθn/dn) of a chirp signal

A circuit has been designed to estimate the rate of frequency change (dθn/dn) of a chirp signal. The novelty of this approach is that it presents a simple method for estimating a time varying input frequency totally derived from a first-order adaptive linear predictor technique rather than from a correlation based method. The simulation results confirm the theoretical analysis and show the potential of the new system in a noisy environment.
