Studies of the Effectiveness of Graphic Materials

Morton S. Malter · The Journal of Educational Research · 1952

A number of the studies were conducted throughout a range of grades and include suggestions for the grade placement of graphs. Several of the studies involve pictorial types of graphs. All of them include one or more types of conventional graphs (bar, line and circle). The purpose of this article is to abstract several general conclusions from those reached in the individual studies.
