The Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR) has a new LISTSERV for uniting people all over the world who want to talk about issues involving computing and societal impact. The LISTSERV is predominately in English because it's the lingua franca of the Net. Issues being discussed include security, decency, privacy, law, national identification efforts, international communication, and matters of computer systems development. To join the discussion, write to [email protected] with a blank subject line and the command SUBSCRIBE CPSR-GLOBAL Firstname Lastname, where Firstname and Lastname are replaced by your own first and last name.
