Putting into practice a privacy code

As biometric systems become ever more prevalent in today's society - primarily in response to the increasing threat of terrorism and identity theft - it is easy for privacy issues to be swept under the carpet. However, those suppliers or integrators who do not consider this critical issue could face problems when end users quite reasonably start asking difficult questions about the privacy of their biometric data .
